MissionImpact millions across Africa

I'm a passionate builder focused on technology that solves real-world problems and empowers people across Africa. I enjoy taking ambitious ideas from a napkin sketch to a scalable digital product people actually rely on.

My long-term mission is to build products capable of impacting millions of users across Africa and eventually the world — grounded in solid engineering, not hype.

My journey

From Bafoussam to Yaoundé — the route, in order, since it's the order that carries the story.

More things I'm building

…and much more

More ideas are in the pipeline — some validated, some still sketches. This list keeps growing.

FIG. 05VISION

Africa has talent waiting to be discovered

I strongly believe Africa has incredible talent waiting to be discovered. Through technology, I hope to contribute to building solutions that reach far beyond a single app.

  • Connect people
  • Create opportunities
  • Empower creators
  • Improve education
  • Accelerate innovation
  • Build careers

FIG. 07INSPIRATIONS

Who I build like

Not idols — reference points. Each pushed on a different part of what it takes to build something that lasts.

Zhang Yiming

Founder, ByteDance

Betting early on algorithms and short-form video, at global scale.

Mark Zuckerberg

Founder, Meta

Building a social platform from a dorm room into something billions rely on.

Steve Jobs

Co-founder, Apple

Obsessive craft — design and engineering treated as one discipline, not two.

Elon Musk

Founder, SpaceX / Tesla

Relentlessness across multiple hard, capital-intensive problems at once.

FIG. 08PROJECT ROADMAP

Current goals

What I'm working toward, in order of focus — not necessarily in order of time.

PHASE 01Launch Freelance

Ship Freelance worldwide, starting with Africa — where the need and the talent are both greatest.

PHASE 02Build scalable systems

Design and ship highly scalable backend systems that hold up under real growth.

PHASE 03Master software engineering

Go deep on the fundamentals — not just frameworks, but the engineering underneath them.

PHASE 04Advanced cloud architecture

Learn distributed systems and cloud architecture well enough to design for scale, not patch for it.

PHASE 05Build for millions

Ship products that meaningfully impact millions of lives — not just users.

PHASE 06Give back to the community

Contribute to the developer community that's helping me grow, in the open.
